“Spartacus” star Peter Mensah is going from lowly slave to powerful vampire.
The black thespian has joined the cast of True Blood for a recurring role in Season 5, Deadline reports. The 52-year-old actor will play Kibwe, the chancellor for the Vampire Authority.
True Blood is slated to return this summer on HBO.
